Flea Market @Amcorp Mall

A couple of weeks back, myBoo and me ventures to long-wanted-to-go-place, Flea Market at Amcorp Mall. I read a lot; hear a lot of review of this place. The Flea Market on weekend is a must-go-place for those who looking for something retro, classic, vintage or collectible item. 

It is not hard to find this place as the building is located besides Federal Highway. Anyone can see Mizz Nina on the AmBank advertisement that is it.

While I’m lost myself in something antique of old school iron (the one using charcoal heated and put it in the iron to make it hot) up to old time magazine, watches and old design of cutleries; myBoo indulged himself in the collection of LP’s together with the player. Various LP from evergreen singer were sold there. We can hear the seller set certain LP on air and the old-time music was sound nice and fill in the ambience with something retro and memorable. myBoo aimed to get those set in his wish list.

All five level of the building was fully occupied by the seller. I do find my collectible VW though! Nice! Hehe… Here are my catch of the day. I always longing for this VW and could not believe I found it there. I should have been there in my earlier year of life. Haha… till then~~

Song of The Week

Hiyaaa… how are ya’ll doing? Sorry for the late post of song of the week (again!!) for this week.. It is a festival week for Muslims all around the world. Yet I have met something very bad yesterday. My baby car met an accident yesterday while I am on my way back to KL from hometown. I am fine, that is most important even I left carless for this few weeks ahead. Nevermind, life must go on. Let us pray that good thing will arise and be with us for remaining for this week and weeks ahead. Hope that kindness and sincerity will accompany all the way throughout our life… God bless all!

An Afternoon at Uptown Damansara

One day in Village Park, myBoo and I in deep conversation about pro and cons of buying headset for his Xbox set. While we enjoying our meal (his Nasi Lemak Daging Rendang, mine Soto Ayam and additional Toast Bread), we couldn't realize something really up out of the restaurant.

Me: Do u really think u need the headset? Keperluan or kehendak? (need coz u really use it or its just u want it)

myBoo: I use it while playing games. Playing Gears of War 3 much better and the feels are inside when u used headset. Besides it is Ear Force Bravo, Limited Edition Modern Warfare 3 sayang... by Turtle Beach.

(I feel a bit dizzy there trying to remembering those headset names)

Me: Ok... I don't mind actually. It is up to u. if u think the headset is worth with the price, I am fine with it. What is the specification and all, u study that later sayang.

myBoo: Okkkkkk sayang!!  (*smug face)

Suddenly..................

Waiter: Abang... Abang... MPPJ towing truck outside. Watch out your car!

Me & myBoo: What??

We are shocked, of coz, we parked our car illegally outside the premises coz in Uptown, and everyone does that. Parking was limited.

myBoo walked out, trying to save the car. I went to the window and took a peek.

Me: OMG!!! The towing truck is right in front of myBoo's car! and where is he??

I saw myBoo walk steadily to his car despite the fact that the towing truck is ready to 'snatch' his car!

Me: Can't he run and save us MYR300 before the towing truck tow his car?? (*sigh)

I almost scream in the restaurant. Fortunately, we are save that day. Hehehe… the towing truck went away and snatch out one Mercedes Benz. Unlucky for myBoo as he has to park the car two block away from the restaurant and walk back under the hot sun.
